This Indian flavor empanada is made with our traditional Cassava crust filled with sauteed chicken thigh, previously marinated with yogurt, seasoned with onion, garlic, cumin, a hint of red pepper powder and Masala spice. Then it is covered with a delicious creamy, tangy, slightly spicy tomato sauce.
Crust: cassava-root starch, rice flour, cheese (milk, cheese cultures, salt, enzymes, cellulose, potato starch), butter (cream, salt), eggs, tomato paste (tomatoes), sea salt, black pepper.
Filling: Chicken thighs, onions, garlic, tomato puree, cumin, red pepper powder, ginger, tumeric, sour cream, yogurt, sea salt, and Masala spice ( cumin, coriander, cinnamon, clove and black pepper).
